Visiting a hotel in Bordeaux, the capital of wine!

Bordeaux has been exemplary, thanks to the unity of the urban and architectural expression. This architecture is the classical and neoclassical style and with almost no changes for more than two centuries. During my vacation in a hotels in Bordeaux I did nothing more than me more about local architecture. Bordeaux has nearly 350 buildings classified as historical monuments, including 3 World religious buildings since 1998 also part of the route to Santiago de Compostela in France. A fellow guest in my hôtel Bordeaux was way to this world-famous pilgrimage site.

The originality of the approach of Bordeaux lies in the extent of the classified area. Bordeaux is the largest urban agglomeration such a large and complex environment in a beautiful way to tackle urban renewal. In the neighborhood where my hotel in Bordeaux was, were the traces of this warp and weft. Everywhere you saw the good results of a few decades effort. The classified area ongeveerd is consistent with the inside of the boulevards, and the Garonne. It stretches over 1810 hectares, or about almost half the city area. Moreover, the city of Bordeaux as a whole, the area outside the boulevards and the surrounding municipalities classified by the so-called heritage sensitive area, a good thing actually.

The fact that many cases are listed on the World Heritage List has a significant positive effect on tourism in Bordeaux. More and more people a city car to the wine capital and stay at least a few days in a hôtel à Bordeaux. It is an additional asset for the cultural and economic attraction of this city and its surroundings. You do not wine connoisseur to have to agree in the unique atmosphere of a Bordeaux hotel under the dipping!

Holiday in an affordable hotel in Brussels centre

I had never been in a hotel Brussel centrum about eight and I had honestly not a good view into. However, I must admit that I was greatly surprised by the charms of our capital, I never knew they had so much beauty in store. Brussels is more than 1000 years old, the capital of Belgium and the administrative center of the European Union. Brussels is strongly characterized by the coexistence of French and Flemish culture, but today is the presence of dozens of different nationalities much more important for the atmosphere of the city. The city tastes very cosmopolitan and very versatile.

The vibrant atmosphere of Brussels is further enhanced by picturesque medieval streets, lively squares, beautiful boulevards, impressive monuments, spacious parks, cozy cafes, interesting restaurants and an active cultural life. My goedkoop hotel in Brussel centrum was located in one of the nicest neighborhoods in the city, I immediately had access to the best spots. Brussels is the bilingual capital of Belgium (at least officially). This means that both the French and Dutch the official languages of the city. Street names for example are still in these two languages. It is a cosmopolitan city where many different cultures live together and where different languages can be heard on every street corner.

I walked just a few hundred meters from the front of my hôtel Bruxelles centre and had an estimated ten, fifteen different nationalities crossed enormously intriguing experience I found that, especially if you a West-Flemish peasant village are submitted. The same variety and contrasts are also reflected in different architectural styles in Brussels, the former capital of the medieval Duchy of Brabant. Alone in the street where my hôtel à Bruxelles was, mocking me about five different building styles. Gothic cathedrals and churches are next – and sometimes in stark contrast with – gracious classical facades like the buildings around the Place Royale, or the beautiful art nouveau and art deco houses.

The heart of Brussels and the place to start getting to know the city is the Grote Markt werelberoemde. This historic market square with the beautiful guild houses and the impressive beauty of the Gothic town hall, is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful squares in Europe. Many people opt for a billiges Hotel in Brüssel in the vicinity thereof, although this course the more expensive hotels affordable hotels Brussels centre. Cheaper stay do so easily a little further away from the historic center.

From Brussels to a hotel in Bruges

Bruges is sometimes’ the Venice of the North ‘, where proudly Bruges eeen told me during my short but very powerful in an hotel in Brugge. He did not know that more cities have received this title, but good, she deserves Bruges perhaps most of all! This beautiful medieval city is one of Belgium’s most beautiful crown jewels. In no other European city is unique feel and appearance of the Middle Ages as prominent as in this city near the North Sea.

Staying in a hotel Brugge is therefore equivalent to taking a sharp dive through history, a intriguing journey in time. During my vacation in a hotels Bruges I learned a lot. Bruges has today a population of about 45,000 people (the old town) and about 120,000 people in total (center with the suburbs). These figures clearly show that Bruges is not a small miniature city, as some may say scornfully. It is still the main cities of Belgium.

It is also the capital of the Belgian province of West Flanders. Many people take day trips from Brussels to Bruges, but there is too much here to fill only 1 day. Brugge without at least one night in a hotel Bruges to stay, whether a goedkope hotels Brugge or one of the magnificent luxe hotels Brugge, is therefore not advisable.

You should just leave, the city has so much in store that they have left are pure sin. Later in the evening, when all the tourists back to their hôtel Bruges is gone, Bruges is its charm and tranquility of the old times back. Bruges is unique, in that the town has made the greatest effort to preserve the medieval character. Of course, not every stone in Bruges directly derived from the Middle Ages. The 19th-century neo-gothic style is more present than people think. Because of these 19th century renovations Brugge some critics describe as a “fake” city, which is not true. Just a few hours after your arrival in a Hotel Brügge you do that: the city is real and authentic!
